We engaged in the IZAK 9 live session for Maths Week.

We thoroughly enjoyed using a range of Mathematical concepts to solve a selection of problems. We engaged in Target Breakdowns, eliminating cubes to find the target cube. We worked collectively in groups to break down the questions to gain the sufficient answer.

We loved the practical multiplication questions using the cereal hoops to represent the calculation, gaining the correct answer. Lots of fun and meaningful activities 🔢

Construction Homes🏠

We loved exploring lots of different homes, and collectively, we designed ‘Our Own Home’ using Lego Bricks. We have fabulous designs, incorporating the Architectural skills we have recognised.

Gymnastics Fun

We are learning all about balance and movement sequences. We are learning to transfer weight from one body part to another and strengthen our core muscles. We really enjoyed the forward roll and handstand.

Home Sweet Home🏡

We enjoyed visiting each station, using the topic books, artefacts and websites to stimulate our thinking of the WAU Topic ‘Home Sweet Home’.

Roald Dahl Day 📚
