OUR HISTORY
St Joseph’s celebrated fifty years of
learning in 2016.
The school first opened its doors on Thursday 1st September 1966 with one hundred and thirty-six pupils. There were five teachers; Mr. Casey, Principal, Mr. Scully, Vice Principal, Mrs. O’Kane, Miss Fahy and Mrs. Quinn.
There have been a number of changes in St Joseph’s over the years and these have been wonderfully encapsulated in ‘St Joseph’s P.S. Celebrating 50 years of Learning’.
View the book, scan the pages, look at the photographs and read about the happy memories shared by many who have journeyed through St Joseph’s Primary School.
