INTERNET SAFETY

Safer Internet Day took place on the 6th of February 2024. Our school celebrations and learning were based around the theme “Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online”.

The Leaders held a poster competition. Well done to the winners!

Remember the rules of keeping safe online!

S-Keep Safe by not sharing your personal information (name, address, mobile number) to anyone online.

M-meeting someone you only know online can be dangerous, always speak to parents first.

A-accepting emails, texts or picture messages from people you don't know or trust can cause problems.

R-information online may not be real, true or someone may not be who they say they are.

T-tell a parent, carer or trusted adult if someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or worried.
